hampir akhir bulan nih, hampir boke juga.

kebetulan Y tempat trainingnya daerah sini juga, jadi pergi pulang selalu bareng.
sampe sejauh ini belom ada yg bisa buat kita berantem hebat. ya paling cuma masalah2 sepele yg marahannya cuma sebentaran. we did lotta silly things. sampe ga jarang orang2 ngeliatin kita gara-gara ulah Y yg kaya orang sarap

Have you ever feel like won't do anything? That was my feeling last Saturday. Since Y had to work that day, so my plan to see him is at night. From morning until afternoon i watched my korean dvd, titled Lie To Me.
And finally, I got bored watched those film all day, so I grabbed my lappy and picturing my self. hhihihi.
Beside of being 'narsis' i want to show my new hair cut. Yap, i cut my hair off, good bye long hair :((

Tidur menyebabkan kematian

Perempuan di atas keliatan normal kan? Yap, dia emang normal, tapi 1 yg ngebedain normalnya kita dengan dia. Kita bisa tidur nyeyak, tapi dia ga. Setiap dia tidur atau ketiduran, dia bisa meninggal. Hiks, ini beritanya :

Staffordshire, Inggris, Saat mengantuk, naik kereta atau menonton film yang membosankan bisa saja membuat orang tertidur tanpa sengaja. Tapi hal ini tidak boleh terjadi pada Emma Chell, karena tidur bisa kapan saja membunuhnya.

Emma adalah satu satu dari 200 orang di dunia yang menderita congenital central hypoventilation syndrome (CCHS). Sindrom langka ini membuat Emma berhenti bernapas setiap kali tertidur, yang berarti tertidur bisa kapan saja membunuhnya.

Congenital central hypoventilation syndrome (CCHS) atau Ondine's curse membuat penderitanya 'lupa' bernapas setiap kali tertidur karena kesalahan dalam refleks saraf yang mengontrol pernapasan.

CCHS bisa merupakan penyakit bawaan sejak lahir atau dikembangkan karena trauma tulang belakang parah, seperti kerusakan pada batang otak, stroke atau komplikasi bedah saraf. Orang dengan CCHS umumnya memerlukan trakeostomi dan ventilasi mekanik untuk bertahan hidup.

Hidup dengan kondisi CCHS membuat Emma tidak boleh tertidur di meja, menginap di rumah teman atau tertidur di kendaraan. Satu-satunya cara untuk membuatnya tetap hidup adalah dengan menggunakan masker ventilator khusus yang bisa membantunya untuk bernapas saat tidur.

"Ini menjadi suatu kesadaran sekarang karena saya memiliki kondisi ini seumur hidup. Saya tidak pernah bisa tertidur secara tidak sengaja karena itu bisa membunuh saya. Jika mengantuk di siang hari, saya akan berjalan-jalan dan mencoba menyegarkan diri," jelas Emma Chell (24 tahun), seperti dilansir Dailymail, Jumat (30/9/2011).

Emma mengatakan tidur malam yang baik benar-benar penting baginya dan ia tidak boleh minum alkohol tanpa didampingi ayah dan ibunya, karena mereka takut Emma mabuk dan pingsan.

Emma menghabiskan dua tahun pertama hidupnya di rumah sakit sementara dokter mencoba mencari tahu mengapa ia tiba-tiba berhenti bernapas.

Hanya 1 dari 200.000 anak lahir dengan kondisi CCHS, tetapi hanya sekitar 200 orang di dunia saat ini yang hidup kondisi langka ini memiliki tingkat kematian yang sangat tinggi. Emma adalah salah satu dari 30 penderita CCHS yang ada di Inggris.

"Kehamilan saya sepenuhnya normal sampai saat ia dilahirkan. Dia segera menjadi biru dan dibawa ke unit neo-natal. Pada awalnya, para dokter hanya ingin memantau, tetapi mereka menemukan bahwa setiap kali ia tidur, ia akan berhenti bernapas, kadar oksigennya akan turun dan mereka harus membangunkannya lagi," kenang Carole (51 tahun), ibunda Emma yang tinggal di Cheadle, Staffordshire.

Menurut Carole, tidak ada dokter atau perawat yang pernah melihat kondisi seperti itu sebelumnya. Akhirnya, Prof Peter Fleming, profesor pediatri di Bristol Children's Hospital mendiagnosis Emma dengan salah satu kasus pertama Inggris dari CCHS.

Emma menjalani operasi trakeostomi untuk memasukkan pipa napas ke lehernya, tetapi dokter masih terlalu takut untuk membiarkan dia pulang bersama orangtuanya. Emma harus menunggu hingga berumur 2 tahun hingga dokter memperbolehkannya pulang ke rumah.

Akhirnya, Carole dan suaminya David (56 tahun) dilatih untuk menggunakan mesin ventilasi dan monitor oksigen yang memungkinkan Emma tidur.

Dengan kondisi yang begitu langka, para dokter tidak tahu apa yang akan terjadi atau apakah harapan hidup masih ada. Emma harus menggunakan ventilasi hampir 24 jam sehari sehingga tidak ada cara untuk tak membiarkannya pulang
